Memes and an Award

Published by at 10:09 am under awards, memes

Lightening has tagged me with a “4 quick questions” meme. Hehe, I don’t know if “big important blogging people do memes“, I’d run a poll but I’m sure they’re all to busy to respond 😉

1. What did you accomplish this past week?

Took big steps towards finalising a (hush hush) secret project with a couple colleagues – Snoskred and Andrew. We’re very excited and all will be revealed soon.

2. Did anything not go as expected?

I take every day as it comes, therefore “not expected” is the norm rather than the exception.

3. What was the highlight of your week?

End of year presentation night for the kids’ school last night. Watched one daughter pick up six awards, my son one and other daughter her kindy certificate. The youngest also danced in a number from Happy Feet.

It was a long night – the whole presentation lasting around three hours, but it rounded off with three performances from Matt Corby which was a bonus.

4. Did anything exciting happen that you did not expect?

Yes, a couple of work related things. Unfortunately, nothing I can mention just yet!

Thanks to Kelley for the “Less than 3” award. Back at ya, babe :)

Hush, hush secret project hey…….ummm. If we guess can we get a free jelly bean (or your groovy emoticons)? How exciting – you could run a blog comp on guess the project.

Secrets are bad Meg, they turn your head (and ours) to scrambled eggs (well….I’m a protective behaviour consultant and child therapist – what else can I say about secrets). But surprises are fun and I for one cannot wait to see/hear of your combined surprise.

Leigh (All for Women) and I are also cooking a big surprise so I was soooo glad to read your little “let the cat out of the bag just a wee bit” squeal. I am hopeless at holding in exciting things and thought I was going to burst with excitement not letting a sniff of our surprise out. I’ll give you a hint…I’m coming to Sydney and I want to meet you all. Now come on Meg, give us a hint (omg – I cannot believe how much I just sounded like one of my kids!!!!)

…and sorry Meg, I forgot to tell you that I am really appreciating your “Print This” plugin. I have taken you to bed more than my husband (lol…you know what I mean).
