Nominations for Best Aussie Blog Posts of the Year

The guys over at Club Troppo are calling for nominations for their annual “Best Blog Posts of 2007“. This is an opportunity to highlight exceptional posts from independent Aussie bloggers:

The objective, once again, is to gather some of the best blog writing in one place. For the cognoscenti, the collection will be both a celebration and a handy compendium. For the uninitiated, it will be a pleasant guided tour of what might otherwise seem a bewildering maze of interlinked web-sites.

From the nominations received, forty are chosen by the committee to be showcased at Online Opinion (two per day on weekdays throughout January). To get an idea of the range, you can view last year’s selection.

James points out this is NOT a competition. There is no one winner. Self nomination is perfectly acceptable.

Each individual can nominate up to three of their own posts, and six in total. Nominations can be made via a post on your own blog (and leave a link in the comments on the post), via links in the comments or email.

Submissions close on Monday December 10.

See Club Troppo for the rules and submission details.

PS I’ve taken up your challenge to offer full feeds. Will try it for a month and see if there’s any big difference in income/page views/rss subscribers

Neerav – hehe theblogcrier.com.au. Actually, I had a tip off from Club Troppo, but highly relevant.

Thanks for letting me know about the feed. I’ll be interested in your feedback. Subscribers +1 😉

Yes, I think it’s is a great idea too. I think it may come down to self-nomination though. I’ve read some great posts during the year, but trying to recall the what, who, where and when takes some organisation!

Yeah I agree it will probably come down to self nomination or you-nominate-me-I’ll-nominate-you, but I would feel a bit ikky nominating myself. Will wander over tonight after I have finished replying to all the comments on my blog 😉
