Community Blogger Award

CommunityBloggerAward

The lovely Cellobella at SultanaBlog has created a Community Blogger Award, and has very kindly chosen me to be the inaugural recipient :)

Cellobella writes:

I wanted the award to say – this is a person who reaches out and makes my blogger community a better one.

I think community is one of the most rewarding parts about blogging. It’s the people that come back time after time to comment, adding to the conversation, making you feel like someone is listening and interested.

While I appreciate everyone who comments here and there are so many people I’d like to “recognise”, I’d like to pass on this award to the following six people* who make frequent contributions, encourage me to be a better blogger, have become friends and as Cellobella says “make my blogger community a better one”:

* I would like to add a special mention to Rod and Will, who never link to a blog. I know that Will does blog – if you’re so inclined, please consider yourself awarded.

So thank you all, please feel free to pass this award on to one or more people who make your blogger community a better place.

    Hi Meg,
    Great choices!
And a good point re commenting. It’s often through commenting that communities are created. You are very generous in your help via comments on other people’s blogs, including mine, and I’m sure there are a lot of us that appreciate it. :)

    Congrats Meg, it’s well deserved.

I might blog on occasion, but who’d want to read my random rantings? 😛

    Congratulations!
You are doing a great job and deserve the award.
Greetings from the other side of the earth.

Thanks Meg. It’s funny I’ve been thinking a lot about blog development and marketing and the real time principles of community development….and blow me down – today the community blogger award comes up!

    Aww, thanks Meg!

I can’t remember now how I found your site but clearly some higher power led me here and I am extremely grateful. You have inspired me to become a better blogger, to seek out fellow Aussie bloggers, to link to fellow Aussie bloggers and to move to WordPress.

We often don’t tell people how grateful we are for everything they do for us, so let me take this opportunity to do that.

You have also inspired me to take a huge step – especially for me, the anonymous scambaiter who never tells anyone her name, even – meeting my first blogger, you! 😉

I’m looking forward to it. 😉

And the badge looks like it fits with my blog re-design! 😉 yay!

    Cheers,
    Snoskred
