NRMA Motoring Blog

Published by at 11:26 am under Australian Blogs

I got an email this morning saying that a new blog had been added to the Bumpzee Australian Blogs Community. Nothing new about that – we’ve got 165 blogs in the community now, which is great.

What was interesting, is that the blog submitted belongs to the NRMA (National Roads and Motorists’ Association). It’s only relatively new, having posted just five entries.

Corporate blogs are certainly not a rarity, but it’s nice to see one actually networking.

So if you’d like to have a say about Motoring issues check out the myNRMA Motoring Blog. Their latest post is asking for opinions about collusion in petrol pricing.

What’s the difference between that and this blog?

    Hi Bryce

That would appear to be superseded by the new blog, which has a much friendly format.

    Hi Bryce,

The blog you linked to was created specially for the Open Road magazine, using bBlog, and is being phased out now that we have a new blog hosted by the more pleasant WordPress. All blogging will now be done there.

    Regards,

I think it’s a great idea for NRMA to get into social media this way.

They should also consider the environment and do away with that crappy magazine and publish online.
