2. New blogs on the Australian Blogs Community

3. Aussie Blog Post of the Week

I thought I’d include a favourite Aussie blog post each week, this week’s pick:-

Gavin over at Servant of Chaos writes about a Blogger’s Hierarchy of Growth, where he parallels the growth of a blogger with Maslow’s hierarchy of needs and the change of voice that occurs at every transition.

It also ties in nicely with my blog karma series this week, as Gavin includes community, reputation and ethics as the top three levels (with ethics at the top), which all require careful management for good blog karma.

Great idea to have a post of the week Meg.

    @ Rodney – no worries!

@ Leigh – not unlike a WWWoW 😉 I figured since I do a weekly update it’d be the perfect spot to whack in a link to a great post!

Hi Meg … great summary — it is interesting to see how things change week to week! Thanks for the blog post of the week! This is actually one of my recent favourites — and it seems to be very popular in Spain too!

    Hi Gavin

Spain – go figure! The wonders of translation. I hope it gets more exposure, because it’s a great post.

I have just updated the Australian Blogs Community HTML links list file to include new blogs joining the community this week. You can get your copy of it here.

    http://fraudstars.info/~snoskred/aussieatoz.txt – A to Z
    http://fraudstars.info/~snoskred/aussieztoa.txt – Z to A (The down-under version!)

If you already have the links list on your blog, please grab the latest version which includes a scrolling box so it doesn’t take up too much space on your blog. You can see a working version of it on my blog, if you’re curious to know what it looks like.

I’m responsible for the two ‘S’ blogs above. This is the perfect opportunity to get to and read some more Aussie blogs instead of the American-centric ones I seem to be reading. Now I just need some time.

    Hi Jen

Thanks for dropping by. I hope you enjoy the Aussie Blogs Community as much as I do :)
