How Hot is the Aussie Cricket Team?

Published by at 7:23 pm under Australia,General

Just watched some of the Australia vs N.Z. one-dayer. Our guys are on fire! It was beautiful to watch.

They shattered the 12 year old record for the most runs (previously 309) at the WACA and finished up 5/343. Let’s hope the Kiwis are able to maintain a little more dignity than the Poms in their Australia Day match…

Update 11.05 pm: Kiwis fight back – putting on a good show. Let’s hope the rain holds off, because applying the Duckworth-Lewis rain rule is no way to win a match.

Good to see Hayden get his ton.

This “power play” concept is interesting, do they still have fielding restrictions for the first 15 overs? Suppose I’ll have to have check it out.

Update 12.06 am: Great game! Jacob Oram – what a star (and how tall is that man?). Fastest NZ ODI 100 (71 balls). So close, and yet….
