Australia Day Update to Top 100 Aussie Blogs
I suppose it’s fitting to choose Australia Day to update my top Aussie Blogs list after a hiatus of nearly 3 months (but who’s counting right?)
Congrats to the blogs debuting this update:
Tim Blair Blog
WhipUp.net
Lilly’s Life
Digital Photo Gallery of Ted Szukalski
Kristarella.com
Not Quite Nigella
Des Walsh dot Com
babyology
Loobylu
Tech Wired Australia
Planning With Kids
The Food Pornographer
and the others returning.
In what would have to be my biggest run through of blogs in a long time, and since it’s Australia Day & all, please find below a list of 250 top Australian Blogs.
Oops – seems this list slows down the loading of my site incredibly, so I’ve moved it on to its own page at 250 Top Blogs.
I hope you are enjoying your Australia Day

Good to see you back Meg, and hope all is well. Having manually tried doing the numbers before, I’m betting it probably took you since November to finish it ๐

Oh so close, I reckon I missed out on hitting the 100 spot by about 400 ‘points’.. Maybe next time.
Anyway, keep up the good work.. I reckon this is probably the most accurate Australian blog list around.
Cheers

Hi Meg, thanks for taking the time to make up the lists. They’re very interesting. I was wondering if there is a different formula for the Australian blog top 100 to the one you use for the top 100 women’s list. I am #2 on the women’s list and #63 on this list. There are a few blogs that are listed after me on the women’s list that are before me on this list. Karen, who is #1 on the women’s list is also behind some on this list. Why the difference?
BTW, well done to your daughter on her results.

I couldn’t resist, I had to visit the Food Pornographer. Does a website name get any better than that? Plus, the site is awesome.

Meg, thank you for doing this list and I am thrilled to be on it too. Woo Hoo. It must take a lot of hard work – its great to find such a comprehensive list of all these great Aussie blogs. Thank you.
Lilly’s last blog post..Dear George Clooney
Ive heard Alexa wil soon cease to exist, so might cause a disruption to the list.
The list is only updated annually correct? In that case there is still plenty of time to work on the formula for next year in case Alexa rankings do not work anymore. However 12 months on the internet is a long time, anything could happen.
