The competition is open until 30th May, 2008.

I spent some time on the website, and there is some truly incredible artwork featured in their gallery.

That is one seriously awesome painting. Is it just me, or does anyone else get this cool dizzy feeling when you rapidly scroll up and down repeatedly over it? :)

On a side note… I hate that the internet blogosphere has come to a point where normal bloggers need to clarify whether a post is paid or not for fear of Google retribution…

Babyamore – it’s all for a good cause (promoting some amazing artists). I can’t even get a stick figure right!

Burgo – I agree, it’s amazing (even better when you see the larger image).

Yes, it is a sad state of affairs. But I see so many bloggers write obviously paid posts without disclosure. I don’t begrudge anyone making money from their blog, but when I write a short “shout out” post like this, I’d rather let the readers know that I’m blogging about it because it’s something I found interesting, or that I think they might find interesting, rather than have them wondering if I’d been paid to write about it. If that makes sense?

Martin – yes, in a way it reminds me of an underwater plant (like a brilliantly coloured anemone) moving in the current.
