Paul Potts Wins the Final of Britain’s Got Talent

Since I’ve been covering Paul Potts’ journey since the show started, I thought it fitting to post the video from the final of “Britain’s Got Talent”.

Over 2 million people voted and the winner is ….. Paul Potts. Well done!

    Thanks Meg – It gets me so emotional to hear him sing each time. Andrea Borcelli , Sarah Brightman and Pavorotti somehow don’t get me that way when they do their versions of Nessun Dorma and Time to say goodbye. I just love it when a diamond bursts out of a lump of coal like this one.

    When is his CD coming out ?? !!! Paul Potts – I hope you can read this.

    If you ever read this, Paul, you might like to know that there are tears streaming in Australia. What a breathtaking experience it is, listening to you sing.
    And what I wouldn’t give to hear you sing “The Prayer”!!!!

    I don’t like opera. But this guy make me stick to the video from start to finish.

    I am sure he is heading to a bigger future and I am not surprised if Paul, one day, will be singing in Sydney Opera House.

    Excellent voice.

    I read the other day that over six (6) million people have already downloaded Paul Potts audition performance on the Internet and judging from that amazing figure, Mr. Potts’ new CD should be a huge hit around the world. Most people like to see regular everyday people make good in this world and Paul Potts is carrying that banner well since his U.K. victory last month. Let’s just hope and pray that he is mature enough to handle what is to come once everyone starts shouting his name.

    paul potts has to be the gratest opera singer of the moment, his voice touches the soul, the chakra like no other, his humble aunassuning vdemeanor we must all learn from, people critisize for reasons of malice and jealousy, people only throw stones at trees bearing fruit. o holy night makes me cry more than nessa dorma
