That’s a lot of sites to go through! It’ll take a few days to add them all to my Bloglines RSS-reader, but it will be worth it. Thanks for compiling this for all to read and discover how to network, market and sell ourselves via the internet.
Haha…. hooray! After so long of the “top 100” list breaking my little heart, I *just* manage to squeeze into the top 250… thanks for giving me some hope Meg! 😛
Hi Meg,
Where do you source your data from to determine how a site ranks (and also to classify it as Australian), and what does the “Index” column refer to?
Thanks
Bloggers who identify themselves as Australian via their about page – whether they are people living in Australia or Australian’s living overseas are generally eligible.
I’ve just found your list via Crazy Meezer and it’s amazing. I have many more blogs to check out now. I would love to be considered for the next one. My ranking is not quite up there yet but you just never know!
noice, my blog had only been up a few days and already at 162
Can you add http://mysticmedusa.com please? She’s The Australian weekend astrologer from Sydney, and has just on 10k of uniques per day. Should be up there somewhere
Shameless self plug: could I add my blog to the consideration set; I’m currently on 109,675 on Alexa Intl; 2,817 on Alexa AU and 250,533 on Technorati.
Oh, the blog is http://limeshot.com , it’s a design blog and I’m based in Sydney.
A mighty effort by you Meg! Thanks for putting this together. I wasn’t aware of this as we were away at the time so out of the loop a bit and no links showed up for me
Awesome job! I would love to be considered for your breathtaking, timeconsuming and labour of love list! I can’t imagine how long this takes you to compile!!! So no rush!

Thanks to all for your kind words & encouragement
Jim, please see http://blogpond.com.au/about-the-index/ for reference as to how the index is calculated. Typically blogs are considered on request, via other lists such as Leigh’s Top 100 Australian Women’s Blogs at http://www.crazymeezer.com.au/top-100-australian-womens-blogs/ or through my internet travels (severely limited lately).
Bloggers who identify themselves as Australian via their about page – whether they are people living in Australia or Australian’s living overseas are generally eligible.
