Happy 100th Birthday!

Published by at 1:01 am under family

My grandmother turns 100 today. Happy Birthday M.W!

Yes, you do still get a letter from the Queen. And the Governor General. And Brendan Nelson. Sweet! (n.b. there may be others, but I haven’t had an update in a few days).

No I don’t have copies, but I am very curious to see.

Can you imagine what the world will be like when you are 100? I wouldn’t even begin to try…

100th birthday! Wow that is awesome, I’m a bit scared to try and think what the world will be like in 67 years time. So will go stick my head in the sand again. Well done grandma!

    Happy Birthday Meg’s Grandmother!

I cannot fathom what it would be like to live to 100, but it’s a great achievement, nonetheless!

Happy Birthday to your grandmother! What a wonderful milestone! I have sometimes said “i feel like i am a hundred years old” but not really considered what that would actually feel like.

Happy birthday to the centenarian. I hope she is still fighting fit. My mother-in-law lived until she was 104, just a month shy of 105.

Wow, happy birthday to your grandmother. What a milestone, and what changes she has seen in the world. My own grandmother made it to 98. She would have been so disappointed not to see 100 which was her aim. Still, she didn’t lose out totally. She was buried on the same day as the Queen’s mother, so she still shared some royal glory.
