Weekly Update

1. New blogs debuting in the Top 100 Australian Blogs

This month marks the one year anniversary of my version of the top 100 Aussie Blogs. Go on, raise a hand if you didn’t think I’d stick at it this long 😉

Congrats to all, and nice to see some of my favourites making the list.

Reminder: Anybody who would like to add (or update) the Aussie blogs from Bumpzee to their blogroll can find an A to Z list and a downunder version (Z to A). Snoskred keeps these updated monthly.

We now have 270 members and 296 blogs.

3. Aussie Bloggers Forum

We now have 455 members who have posted over 20,000 posts in 1636 topics. It would be nice to see you there, if you haven’t had the chance to pop by. And it’s not just for Aussies.

4. “Me” Stuff

Vishal Sharma kindly invited me to be interviewed – you can find out all about what I do in my day job.

Also, as part of her Pay it Forward competition, and as if she doesn’t have enough on her plate at the moment, Tiff interviewed me about blogging (and said some really nice things – as Kelley would say, “cheque’s in the mail”, ok 😉 ).

Thanks Vishal and Tiff.

If you happen to be going to SMX Sydney next week, you might see me make a brief appearance during the Local Search Roundtable.

Congrats on your 1 year anniversary babe! And so excited to debut in the Top 100 on this auspicious date :)

Wandering over to read your interview now… OMG you are so purdy!

OMG when are you going to schedule that appointment with the optometrist? 😮

    Glad you made it :)

A year of the top 100 already – doesn’t time fly! Of course it wasn’t complete until i managed to make it there with one of my blogs which just goes to prove that if you have enough blogs then something good is bound to happen to one … eventually lol.

I will be back to read those interviews another time, with the nods at present I wouldn’t get half way through the first :-)

It is excellent to see so many new bloggers making it onto the list.
Meg can you change my addy for the list please. I’ve swapped the blog over to imaginif.com.au.

    Greg

😀 For some reason Everybody-knows isn’t producing a technorati rank. It was fine last month.

Sorry the interview was so dry – but it is about work 😉

    Megan

Sorry mate – ’tis done – don’t know why I didn’t think to do it.

Meg, congratulations on keeping up the list. I can only imagine how much work it takes. I enjoyed the interview as well. I wouldn’t say you’re a late bloomer, you just did kids first then business. They’re both hard work.

Congratulations Meg. I love watching the top 100 list and exploring new blogs. It’s even more fun now I’m amongst them myself but I enjoyed it even before that happened.

The interview was great. I enjoyed reading a bit more about what you do. :)

I rescued you Lightening :) Thanks for taking the time to read them :)

  12. Lighteningon 05 Apr 2008 at 7:42 pm

Thanks for the rescue Meg. I feel a bit like I’m playing “stuck in the mud” at the moment and relying on all my friends to run under my legs and “unstick” me. LOL. I never was very good at that game. :)

Thanks for putting me on the list, Meg!

Not really an Australian (as you can see from the photo) but I’ve lived in Melbourne for 12 years now and feels like I’m really a part of Australia 😀
