Corny Cartoons
There’s no denying it. I inherited my father’s sense of humour. My dad, Warren, who’s celebrating his birthday today, loves to use puns. He always manages to make me laugh, even if some of them are pretty sick. Any time someone in the family makes a play on words, we call it “doing a Warren”. So these punny pics (source unknown - they came to me in an email), are for my dad.
Hope you got a chuckle.

Wow, they’re really bad
“Corny Cartoons” … pun intended?
Who me? But of course
Here’s a late one for Pere Warren
I knew these guys who had a mate who was an out of control punster. They were on hols with him and got so sick of the puns they locked him in a room and resisted his pleas to be let out, saying they would only let him out if he promised no more puns for the duration of the holiday.
Long silence
then, “OK”
then “o-pun the door”.
No worse than the blackberries.
Hi Des - that’s a classic, he’ll love it
My husband is just like that, too. He makes corny puns and cracks corny jokes with really lame punchlines. The thing is, he has me and the kids laughing because of the “corniness.” It has become something of an inside joke among us.
If someone else hears his jokes and sees us all laughing, they’ll think we’re all weird
Hi Manila Mom
Thanks for dropping by
I know what you mean about “an inside joke” - I think that’s what makes it even funnier, knowing that everyone else doesn’t “get it”. It’s also great for building a certain intimacy within a family.
Hah!
They were great!
Hey Vanessa - glad you liked them!
Thanks Leigh
Tell me, are you going for the longest blog name, or what
